Elemental magic occurs with the combination of fire, water, earth, and air/wind. Greenwich magic occurred last Saturday evening when Chris Cleave, author of INCENDIARY and LITTLE BEE, was the guest of Literary Matters at the Barn at the Bush Holly House.

Combine Chris, dinner created by chef Jeff Pandolfino, and the setting itself, and that was our magical formula! Thanks so very much to Chris for his generosity of time; he's on a whirlwind 24-city-tour-in-so-many-days in the US to celebrate the publication of LITTLE BEE in paperback. We were thrilled to share in this celebration, and now of course, we're looking forward to hosting another event for Chris when his new book is published. Meanwhile, we'll have to be satisfied with the movie, soon to be released, starring Nicole Kidman.
